The Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation supporting 15 of Virginia's private institutions of Higher Education.  Contributions may be made by check, major credit cards, gift of securities, planned giving and named scholarships.  Gifts are tax deductible and distributed to all 15 member colleges.  

 

Listed below are several ways that businesses, foundations and individuals may contribute to the VFIC:  

  • Checks made payable to "VFIC" and mailed to:

  • Donate Online

  • Gifts of Stock - if you have questions, please contact Myrt Turner (804)288-6609 (instructions for sending gift of securities)

  • Credit Cards (Visa or MasterCard): contact the VFIC at (804) 288-6609

  • Corporate Matching Funds - if your company matches employee contributions, please include your match forms and we will be happy to process those for you.

  • Planned Giving/Bequests  - the VFIC encourages individuals to name the VFIC as a beneficiary of a will, insurance policy or trust.  Please contact Ned Moore if you have any questions or would like to discuss options.
