VFIC Ethics Bowl

History of the VFIC Ethics Bowl

Roger Mudd presents judges' questioning to students

Final round judge Roger Mudd poses question to team from Hampden-Sydney College.

The Roger Mudd Ethics Bowl Fund was established in 2009 to preserve the continuation of this important program on each of our member college campuses. Mr. Mudd served on the Ethics Bowl task force since it's inception in 1998.

Since the first VFIC Ethics Bowl Event was held in 2000, Mr. Mudd has been an integral part. He has judged debates, participated annually in the writing and editing of the debate cases and spoken on VFIC campuses. His drive and energy have pushed this fledgling project into a statewide competition.

If you would like to contribute to this very important and worthwhile program, please contact Mary-Beth Johnson for details or you many send a gift designating it to the "Roger Mudd Ethics Bowl Fund".
