Sherley Arias-Pimentel, a senior at the University of Richmond, is majoring in anthropology and global studies. She recently received the Joy of Giving Something Fellowship, a national award, for her portrait photography. In the fall of 2021, she traveled to Ghana to study globalization and cultural legacies, and created an on-campus exhibition of her photos.
