Student Highlight
Senior Chloe Goode, from Henrico, Virginia, was named a 2025 Truman Scholar. The Truman Scholarship is the premier graduate scholarship for aspiring public service leaders in the United States. The Truman award is but one of many of Goode’s achievements. In 2023, she was the first Richmond student selected for a prestigious summer Fulbright scholarship to Northern Ireland. Goode is the founder and president of R.E.A.C.H., a group mentoring program that aims to promote post-secondary success for high school students through tailored sessions that connect under-served Richmond-area students with University of Richmond students as mentors. She is volunteers with the non-profit Communities in Schools where she distributes weekend meals for students facing food insecurity at a Richmond-area elementary school.
